Good Morning: John x Reader

You look at her sleeping next to you, eyelids covering her beautiful [e/c] eyes, always shining like diamonds, as was she, and her [h/l], [h/c] hair splayed out on the pillow. It always made yo smile. You always made it a point to get up before she woke up for work, just to see her like this. So innocent, so beautiful. It made you wonder how such an angel was given to you.

You grin widely and look at the clock, seeing it almost the time that she normally wakes up, and slipping into bed with her. Next week counted the start of the New year, and you had something special planned. You then leaned down and kissed her cheek as she slept, then rolling over and placing your glasses down on your separate nightstand, where the alarm was.

So, when she woke up, you could surprise her with a few good morning kisses. But right now? It was time to make this a partly good night.
